Hong Island kayaking, Snorkeling. 來洪島划獨木舟和不怎麼樣的浮潛

2016年4月11-16日來到泰國喀比省的奧南海灘區!
4/15 來洪島划獨木舟和(不怎麼樣的)浮潛

A quick short Hong Island trip video and short summary below that hopefully give you some information you may be looking for.

Tour Operator: Krabi Discovery Tour. We didn't have any preference in mind and just picked it at a street booth. The next few day were Songkran celebrations in Ao Nang and we had to make a quick reservation in case the booths had been closed.

Inclusions:
Pakbia Island, known for white sandy beach, stopped for swimming and relaxing.

Landing Island, stopped for snorkeling but most of time the visibility was poor and did not see many fishes.

Hong Island's Bay, had lunch here, a lunch box with some fried chicken, thai sauce for dipping, a little veggies, a bottle of water, some fresh fruits.

*for kayaking, we paid 1400 bahts/p to include kayaking so we had a kayak and paddled to the Hong Island's Lagoon after lunch.

*Those who opted no kayaking generally stay at the bay swimming, relaxing, or snorkeling for about 2 hours. Snorkeling was not exciting here in my experience...perhaps you'll find it better on other days/months or with better lucks with other operators? Would love to hear your story then...

Hong Island's Lagoon, I loved this lagoon very much!

*for kayaking: one trip kayaking to the lagoon takes estimately 25-30 minutes on relaxing path. If you are fast paddling you will get there with less time. Since there's 2 hours stay at Hong Island's Bay, count your time well, spend enough time playing at the lagoon, and remember to go back to the Bay in time to join in the tour. Of course, you could also kayak around the whole Hong Island but it probably takes up 2 hours...

*The tour boat would also take every guest to visit the lagoon in the later but only for your photographs on the boat, there's no time for you to get off the boat and walk/relax in the water.
